Metaltown 2010

Today I arrived back at home after a visit to Metaltown in Gothenburg, a two day festival with lots of metal and some Rammstein. We booked a hotel a long time ago, meaning we were smack dab in the middle of town in a marvellous room for almost no money at all. Excellent planning makes for good metal, as I always say. Yes, he looks like a cross between a sasquatch and a berzerker, and he goes by the name of Johan ... which is SO anticlimactic.

Heh, yes, quite anticlimactic! I saw them at the death fest in Ohio right before I moved...you did too, I think? I was unimpressed, but absolutely fascinated by his beard as he sang.

Yes, I saw them there as well. They were a lot better this time around. On one song they brought on the singer from Entombed, which was pretty amazing. And they've matured a lot as a band. Still a bit too heavy on the Norse mythology, but what the heck, it makes for majestic lyrics. =)

Eh, he's good practice. Or would be if he wasn't so *immensely* black and white in his stance, and unable to notice that he is. Subtlety is not for Seth, it appears, everything is so very simple in his world.
