Apparently, stowing away wasn't that hard. Kiden had secured herself in the cargo area for a while. She had wedged herself down between two boxes and under some netting she'd found. (Really, why the ship had netting was a bit of a mystery to her, perhaps sailors used netting for things. But this wasn't a fishing ship and that was the one time she thought netting might be useful). Either way, she'd stayed down for an extra day or so. She had her loaf of bread, so no extra food was needed. Kiden had also acquired a small pouch of water before stowing away (and by acquire it is meant in all senses of the word and none of the extra connotations that might go along with it). She could tough it out for longer than a day, but by her calculations they were out to sea again.

Too bad this wasn't the ship with the Hey You on it. He was a fairly pleasant fellow, all things considering. Though, Kiden had staked out the captains for a while, and this Captain Hunter seemed far more likely to accept a stowaway than the other two. The red haired captain of the Cheap Prayer had been too intimidating, and the other... Kai Wokou looked a lot like the kind of guy to kick you when already down. Kiden had no urge to stowaway on his ship.

She pulled herself up, and over one of the boxes. A little jump, and then a turn to settle the netting back down. First thing, find out the layout of the ship. She wanted to find the kitchen, as her bread was gone. However, a few wrong turns and she found herself in the crew's quarters. Well, this was good enough.
