I’m always the last to know, but I do it the old-fashioned way: Nobody tells me anything. I’ve had my current phone for three years and have never received a text that wasn’t spam (usually from the phone company).

I thought you were going to say you simply read the newspaper. :) Personally I dislike texting especially when people try to have whole conversations that way. Sometimes I feel relieved when I get spam from the phone company because I just delete it and it's over.

Also, I don't remember how I learned that Michael Jackson died. Probably a newspaper. ;)

And by "newspaper," you mean imdb.com or other online newsy outlet? I know I confuse you with me a lot, but still.

Nah, I haven't read IMDB in a long time (huge ads and stuff, it's just not like it used to be). I think it was simply in the Yahoo top stories when I logged out of my mail (can't avoid it).
