Hello from Tooting Bec! I think this room was used mostly for throwing coats onto the bed at Christmas parties. I bought a desk and chair from Ikea and have assembled a compact little home office

Public transit is among my several "read a whole bunch about it" hobbies, and I've written and spoken numerous times (a few for money) on the subject. Several parts of that diatribe compare the U.S. with Europe (and other developed parts of the world) in their use of transit, and how they benefit differently due to their different histories and levels of commitment to it. (The Japanese take it a bit too far, if you ask me.)

For future reference I've noted: no food on Tokyo densha but they make train-friendly lunch packs for intercity rail.

There's something natural and balanced about what you have now but the darker colour brings out your eyes more. Tough call :-)
