so there's a new pope. whee. i'm at school in one of the computer labs and there's a tv slightly smaller than dave's here which is playing cnn. pope benedict xvi (formerly cardinal rotzinger) is now head of the catholic church

Yes, I agree with what you have said. The interesting thing is yesterday I read that the German cardinal was once a member of Hitler's Youth movement. And now he is pope.

Also, as you know very well from my rantings, growing up Roman Catholic has left indelible stab wounds all over my psyche. No stigmatas. Just...wounds.
