A year later

I don't WANT to go to the bar, goddammit. What I want is to shuffle over to a friend's place, plop down in my sweat pants and enjoy the company and the nice weather. I felt really sick today, in addition to spending all afternoon walking around MoMA...why is drinking the only way my friends in Astoria can thing of to socialize? The better ( Read more... )

I feel your pain, Amy..I really do...

And if it weren't for the fact that a lot of my friends have gotten to the same point where you and I are now, it'd be a sad thing when I wanted to hang out with friends.

I'd take moroccan food over a pint just about any day of the week..:)

That used to bug me over the summer as well and, I imagine, will again after I move back. Makes no sense to me. But! When I move back to queens I will go to Manhattan with you! :)

I know your view of SLC is rose-tinted now, but I'm right there with you. So sick of just drinking and partying all the time. I'd rather have a few people over to chill, make dinner and watch a movie- with the proper amount of good wine of course!
