You'll probably appreciate this.

Wehn my parents had to move to Washington for a while, she took 6 of the cats. 5 of them had to be declawed before they left (1 was adopted that way) in order top better their chances for renting a house. After a little while, they found that Yin, our sweet little precious momma's boy, was an incredibly malicious mouser. He was able to catch them even without claws. We're sure he ate a few, but mostly he like to play with them...for hours. He would not let any of the other cats join in, no matter how much they insisted. I think he misses living in a place where he could be a mouser.

Did you ever see the mouse do the "Oh....shit!" moment of pause staring at Yin when they meet face to face just before the chase?

That's my favorite part.

Unfortunately, no. Both time I visited my parents while they were living there, we missed the mouse games.

Sad.

I guess the mice were most commonly under the dishwasher, because Yin was basically glued to the spot in front of it, always looking under for his next game.

Not at all surprising. Kaworu can be a vicious hunter... when he's not running away from pigeons. Very cute video.
