I did something today that I never thought I would ever do. Okay two things. Okay...one thing but I did it twice. I applied for a job in New York City, otherwise known as "that city I always talk shit about." But I found some jobs that were right up my alley, and it said they offer relocation assistance, so I thought what the hell. Two things

i feel the same way about moving: that i should wait to move to the place i think i like most, so i dont stay in one place forever. but i am not sure if i should move to the place i like most NOW, assuming that later i will start liking some other place better and then want to leave. OR, should i assume the place i like most now is the place i will always like most and postpone living there just to try other stuff out? i think you are pretty much right: life is a stupidly complicated series of interwoven half-crazy lines and circuits.

that's true. what if i 'grow up' and my tastes swing the complete opposite direction and then i LIKE big cities? i didn't even think of that. now i don't know what to think.

no worries. when my parents moved to indiana they had only planned on staying one year, but they ended up staying 20 (and counting), so i guess it's important to consider it carefully.

Dude, I'm totally moving to Gotham City. I've been totally obsessed with Batman comics for the last week; I've been reading like one entire graphic novel a day, and I've been rereading the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. Bitching. Actually I'm kind of pissed because now I've read all the Batman novels that the Library has to offer, and I'm gonna hafta go buy one.
P.S. Did anyone know that Frank Miller, creator of Sin City, also wrote the screenplays for Robocop 2 and 3??? Go figure.
