as humans we tend to externalize our emotions, in effect, shaping world according to our tone. that old cliche; mind over matter. such is the extent of our rational capabilities. hands and feet to touch the ground, our eyes to see it, and our mind to internalize the stimulus...to process, interpret, reflect, and retain. whether or not there is some kind of dichotomy (mind/matter) is resolved as a level of abstraction in our mind. it is this that we call abstract thought, and how we define a thing relies completely on our ability to conceptualize. the truth is things exist entirely of themselves, without our common understanding or discussion thereof ( ... )
