Mal and River? Absolutely not! Apart from the age difference, go back and watch the movie: it's more like a father/daughter relationship...a somewhat strange one, but you know all about those, right?

I just can't do the whole Mal and River thing - I'm sorry, but I've always been one of those boring shippers who goes for the typical pairings... Mulder and Scully, Arwen and Aragorn, Mal and Inara.. you know ;)

Anyway, I find it hilarious and awesome that you're reading Firefly fanfic... Kevin says it's quite nerdy of you ;) And I agree with needing some more Firefly stuff after the way everything ended. Did you know there's actually a Serenity graphic novel that Josh Wedon did? It ties everything up rather nicely, actually. You should check it out! :D

a friend of mine from college is waaaaaay into graphic novels, and i haven't even watched "sin city" yet because he made me read all three novels first, and i promised i'd wait and watch the movie with him afterwards. so i'm very much a fan!
