Birthday: 1 March, 1980
Bloodline: Pureblood

Appearance
Height: Tall, closing in on 6'1"
Weight: 180 lbs
Eyes: blue
Hair: bright red
Build: tall, thin, and gangly. short and stocky, Ron is not
Defining Marks: Freckles. He's got quite a few peppered all over his body, although not quite as many as Percy. He was also left scarred, somewhat, from his experiences in the Department of Mysteries, mainly on his upper arms and shoulders, and a few on his thighs.
Possessions always on this person: He tries to keep his wand on him at all times, otherwise he keeps a pack of Muggle playing cards in an inside pocket of his robes, after the Exploding Snap pack kept destroying his pockets and his mum yelled.
Health
Eyesight: Average; he doesn't need glasses, but he's not sharp-eyed by any means.
Hearing: Again, average. His mother and Ginny would probably complain that he has selective hearing.
Left/Right/Ambi: right
Disabilities/Handicaps:
Physical Health: He's in decent health, really. Gets the occasional sniffle in the winter, though.
Extrovert/Introvert: Extrovert, but not to an extreme degree.
Phobias/Fears: SPIDERS, in all of their creepy, crawly, eight-legged forms. Also, he's afraid of losing his family. On a lighter note, he also is terribly afraid that the Chudley Cannons are never going to win another match again. Also, being known as Ginny's older brother.
Mental Health: Overall, all right. There's a few hang-ups here and there, but this would be normal, par-for-the-course for a close friend of Harry Potter's. All in all, he thinks that he's not too bad.
Personality
Goals/Dreams: He wants desperately to not be known as Bill's little brother, Percy's little brother, or Fred and George's little brother. He wants to be Ron Weasley, on his own terms, and making his own way. With that in mind, he wants to be an Auror, and being friends with Harry is only cementing this desire.
Quirks/Habits: Always sleeps on his right side or his stomach. Talks in his sleep; his favourite subject then is rutabegas. Is sometimes known to count the freckles on his hands when bored. Still cringes and stutters when he says Voldemort's name aloud.
Likes: Chudley Cannons, artichoke, butterbeer, Quidditch, the thought of being an Auror, and Hermione. Despite the experience with Scabbers/Peter Pettigrew, he still holds a fondness for rats. Wizard's Chess. Exploding Snap. The colour indigo. Bertie Bott's Every-Flavour Beans. Any food that's not brussel sprouts. Defence Against the Dark Arts. Charms.
Dislikes: Draco Malfoy (or, as he calls him, That Bloody Git), Lord Voldemort, Death Eaters, spiders, spiders, spiders, the thought that Hermione may not like him back, Peter Pettigrew. Brussel sprouts.
First Impression: A bit goofy, but mostly friendly. A normal, pesky boy.
War Stuff
Thoughts on blood purity: He doesn't really care, honestly. Blood's blood, everyone bleeds the same.
Greatest war-related worry: That Harry won't win, and his family and friends will not survive.

Personal History:
Ron was born 1st March, 1980, to Molly (Prewett) and Arthur Weasley. He was the sixth son born to the family, and as such, felt that he was always competing with Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, and George, his older brothers, in one way or another. And, because of this perceived competition, he always felt that he fell short -- he doesn't feel that he'd ever make Head Boy, like Bill and Percy, or Quidditch Captain, like Charlie. Additionally, he usually felt inadequate to the true brilliance of Fred and George, as well as their popularity. Adding to all of this is Ginny's own popularity and seeming ability to stand on her own and take care of herself. Ron has simply always felt that he's been pushed aside, even if it wasn't true.
In short, he felt like the proverbial Middle Child, even if he truly wasn't.
As a child, though, he was often found trailing after whatever older brother was at home, emulating them to a degree. Always, though, he had his Chudley Cannons blanket trailing behind him (it was a gift from a distant relative, and at first he was attracted to the bright colour, and then that allegiance was shifted to the team itself), and even has it buried at the bottom of his school trunk.
Ron met Harry Potter on the Hogwarts Express prior to their first year, and instantly a friendship was struck. At first in awe of Harry and his famousness, he soon got over it, finding in Harry an endearing character and a brilliant friend.
Despite his callousness towards Hermione at various times during their friendship, he truly holds her in high esteem, considering her "brilliant but scary." Late in his third year, he developed a crush on Hermione, and unlike his suave older brothers, completely mangled every attempt he ever made at telling Hermione that he "like liked" her. Of course, most of these efforts consisted of angering her or making fun of Viktor Krum, or dating Lavender Brown for most of a school year, in hopes of making Hermione jealous.
At the end of his Sixth year, though, he felt relatively convinced that he wouldn't really bungle anything, and is simply waiting for the right time to tell her his feelings. He can't help, though, but feel that he'll mess it up. Right now, his plan is: "Hermione, I... uh." and then he might kiss her. If he doesn't die of embarrassment first, of course.
A consequence of his family's lack of money has been a recurring thorn in his side, often incurring jealousy on his part towards Harry. While Harry often tried to downplay his wealth, Ron was nevertheless always aware of it. He's also often been all too aware of Harry's popularity, only really allowing it to bother him during his fourth year, when his wanting to take part in the TriWizard Tournament overshadowed facts that he knew to be true: that Harry would never willingly put his name in the goblet or really want to take on any more notoriety than he already had. Now, though, he knows that Harry doesn't want any of this, and would like nothing less than to simply be... Harry.
Percy is a sore point for Ron, particularly because of his insistence that Harry is delusional, and then his defection from his family. Despite Ron's sometimes bitterness about his family, he truly loves them, and wants nothing than for all of them to stick together.
Dumbledore's death had made Ron a bit quieter, a bit more introspective. He is also that much more determined to see that he does what he can to help Harry defeat Voldemort.
