The whole universe hums all the time. It never stops, but I can only hear it sometimes in the night or see it in the day. In the right circumstances, which are very rare, I can feel it for an hour, but on those more common but still infrequent occasions, I can hear it hum for a few minutes. But then my impatient curiosity, my short attention span, so self-destructive at times, makes me go do something else. Sometimes though, I can make myself stop and listen, and then I can hear it: Aum Aaaaauuuuummmmmmm and the whole world is warm and electric and I am it. Oneness.
