I can and will! The insomnia gives me a dramatic effect, i think. I was hoping for a tongue-in-cheek melodrama, though. Also, my current hotel room is SWANK. Once i leave here, i will require myself to check into some sort of Motel 6 type place. It will probably smell.
Totally mobile. I don't know if I could handle that. Probably not for long. I would certainly enjoy some train rides. Trains and bicycles are probably the two best means of long distance travel ever invented. Add airships for a third means.
The trains are wonderful to ride in AK, although the scenery is so tremendous you probably wouldn't get much reading done. You should find a way to come up here before Sarah and I move, which might be happening in less than a year. It sounds like you are doing well- testing your limitlessness and exploring your depths. That is something we all need to do from time to time. I've been trying to figure out how to do it on a regular basis, despite the routines I ascribe to.
Don't be surprised if i take you up on that! There are only the logistics to figure out. Alaskan backpacking is definitely high on my list. Once i track down the perfect bearproof suit.
