Snow. Can you believe that? One of the hottest summers on record, and now it's snowing. A month earlier than I can ever remember it snowing.

I'm also cranky today, because the cats were being annoying all morning, just messing with stuff. As a result, I didn't sleep well.

I think I'll go home for lunch and bury my head under a pillow for an hour.

That was not the call I needed to start a ten-hour day. I hate talking to people when I have to repeat myself six times. How bad a memory do you need to have to not remember "pop.mailserver.net"?

Sometimes I want to strangle these people.

Busy busy today. I can't wait until they hire a few more people around here.

I've got my laptop here today, working on our new internet installer CD. Now I've finished with that, and with each call I'm on I keep getting mesmerized by the screen saver.

My brain is going to fry in my head, like a... fried thing.

The days are getting cooler, which is a great relief after such a scorching summer. (By Alaska standards anyway...) I hadn't noticed until we started getting some cloudy days how brown all the trees looked. We had so little rain that the blinding green I'd always associated with Alaskan summers was missing.
