Although I do not know you, I feel compelled you leave you a comment after seeing your user icon via your comment on Andy Nelson's journal. I looked through your user interests and wanted to tell you that it's so amazing and refreshing to see a dude who cares about women's rights and issues. I studied feminist theory in college, and a recurring theme we always discussed in my classes was men's general lack of involvement in campaigns for women's rights. So I want to commend you for trying to encourage people (particularly guys) to think about the privilege and hierarchical power that men have, which allows and perpetuates an anti-woman society and violence against women. You made my night.
