"Horsie doesn't like you."

"Just a little problem." Which was, admittedly, enough to annoy him more than it might other people. But still.

She'll skim up behind the human and his horse as they break from the line. Now...where does he think he's going?

Unfortunately for Airachnid, the horse has a lot more rear vision than its rider, and it does not know her. It whinnies sharply and takes off at a gallop, earning a startled noise from the convict. "What the-?!"

Pursuit by air seems called for. The worst thing you can do in front of a predator, stranger, is act like prey.

This is generally the part where he would duck into a building and head through the sewers, but this isn't Baltimore, and every machine he's seen here is a huge talking robot anyway. After a bit more work, he finally manages to pull the reins enough to get the horse to stop. "Easy, easy."

With questionable access to energon, he had made it his priority to conserve and seek, monitoring all feed-lines for mentions of electronics or unusual phenomenon. He had no desire to interact, except when interactions became necessary to obtain data. He had no desire to continue this charade, except that he had no choice.
He was...
Bored.
Far away from the trail he was waiting, walking along at times, allowing the unusual physics of the world to move him on its own at others. He did not question that a horse was riding toward him, nor did he question that its owner seemed distressed...he merely raised to his full, complete height, and glowered down at it as it approached.

Which, admittedly, is a lot easier with a huge robot in the way. It slows and starts to back up until Torque manages to stop it, looking up at the robot and settling gratefully in the saddle. Hey, Soundwave. Thanks for the assist?

However, the intrusion was strange. It had not taken any complex computations to come to the conclusion that most of the creatures journeying on the trail with himself were...unused...to life in the wild. The humans were not 'one' with their planet--it was quite the opposite--and he'd heard more than one complaint over the network about the deplorable conditions.
He agreed.
The lack of energy was worrisome.
Torque, however...did not appear to be under duress.
"State your business." Soundwave asked, nearly by force of habit, using one of Starscream's old recordings. The tone was gruff...but his actions weren't, as he crouched to examine the 'horse' a little closer.

The horse whinnies as Soundwave crouches, Torque clicking his tongue lightly. Calm down you silly animal, you're around these robots all the time.
He shrugs one shoulder. "It ran away with me." It's not terrible or a tragedy, it simply is.
