Shinichi had his own concerns. Normally he would have already been out attempting to determine how these so-called zombies operated. Obviously there must be some kind of trick to them.

But at the moment he had a serious mobility and supply problem. With Ran's broken arm and his own snakebitten foot, there was no one in his wagon capable of moving about easily. But they needed supplies. He had originally purchased only enough food and supplies for one person. Among other things, that had left Ran borrowing his spare set of clothing.

And he knew better than to suggest that Ran accompany him. No, even with his injury he was still mobile. And he didn't fear such tricks.

Armed with a list of supplies and a makeshift crutch, he sets out.

Shinichi wasn't the only one with a mobility problem. Leg broken in the bear's assault, Naoto wasn't allowing her condition to keep her just at the wagon anymore. While she hadn't been expecting a fort with zombies, she was pretty sure she had requested this Shinichi fellow to become more open to the possibility of the abnormal on this trip.

The rifle slung over her back, Naoto makes her way away from the wagons and towards the small shops and houses. Bad enough one person with an injured leg come out here. Well, there was always her fall back if there was an emergency.

Shinichi spots the familiar face on his way back to the wagons. He gives a polite nod as he moves along on his crutch with a bag slung over his back.

Of course this would happen. Annoyed, Naoto sighed.

"You made your friend worry leaving the wagons like that."

"I noticed. Ran's always been afraid of ghosts and monsters, even though she likes to watch scary movies." He sighs irritably. "But this is necessary. I had only purchased enough supplies for one person. Now there are three of us."

Well, that sounded familiar. Naoto didn't understand the thrill of watching horror movies.

"You could have gone with someone who isn't suffering from a crippling injury right now. While they do move slowly, with your hands full, you can easily be attacked in your condition."

"Everyone has their own concerns. I wouldn't ask that of them." He always wanted to do everything by himself.

"... There's still much for you to learn."

They should just get back to the wagons before continuing this conversation.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about."

But he begins to move again back towards the wagons.

"I'm sure one day you will."

Naoto goes along with him, keeping an eye on their surroundings.
