Me too. I'd have certainly done what I could. Glad you...er, he, is better, but WTF happened, excuse the lack of proper Victorian phrasing?

Dear Cedric Grey,

Thank You for filling in the people that did not know about his illness. I'm sure that they feel lost from not being able to help a good friend in need. Please ask you nephew to remember that my Sir and I are both here for him and all he has to do is call , write or just show up on our doorstep because our door is always open to him. Also as an update, he came and saw his god son for his 3rd birthday and we where all glad that he made it and was able to spend some time as part of our family which he has always been.
I am hoping that after he recovers that he will come and spend time with his god son so he will always have wonderful memories of his godfather. If anything was to happen to Tuan. Let us know if you need any supplies and I can send them through your nephew.

Know that your nephew is in good hands and that he has people here that will keep a watchful eye on him.

Sincerely
rei

Your love and concern have never been in any doubt. He has spoken often and quite enthusiastically on your family's involvement in his life..

Dearest Cedrick,
For those days that Tuan lay prone in Intensive Care, phone calls were not allowed; however, hearing his (somewhat raspy) voice when he received his private quarters did much to alleviate worry and dread in the hearts of those not so nearby. We are in great debt to those who made sure we did not lose him. I look forward to meeting with Tuan in the near future, swapping Intensive Care horror stories until tears stream from our eyes.

Thank you for keeping us informed.
