I just had wanted to say that it had been pleasing to meet you, even if I was feeling under the weather at the time, and wasn't the most social butterfly at the event. In case you needed reminding, I am the young lady with the misfortune of being uprooted most greiviously from my home, and husband, and was being hosted by the most kind Professor V---, and his lovely companion, Z---. While I'm sure I looked preoccupied with my books, I was paying some attention to the conversations around me, and I found you most charming. Since I am trying to extend my social circle, and have been advised that we do have common intrests, I felt it safe to write to you, and keep up with your dealings.
You did seem rather distracted and as such I endeavoured to not intrude upon you. I do look forward to conversing with you again under curcumstances more amienable to conversation.
