I am rather sorry I missed the Summer Event--I was scheduled to go but financial and time-scheduling concerned precluded that.
However, I am grateful to you for the invaluable sartorial advice you gave and am looking forward to the artistic gathering early this Fall, at which I'll have the chance to put some of it in action.
I so adore reading your journal! Since I know a few of the players, I even understand a bit of it! Even if I didn't it is such a refreshing read that I would dip in it anyway!
I would have to say that the thing I enjoy, perhaps above all else in a journal like this (the obvious creative expression nonwithstanding), is finding that there are people who still remember that the English language can be a thing of grace and beauty when well-mixed with a flourishing vocabulary.
Burns, even when bawdy and colloquial, was poetic. I think it's a rare thing anymore.
