my dad is scheduled for surgery today across state. he has an anyerism his spleen, and a cyst on his pancreas. Now apparently you don't need a spleen, and you can remove a good portion of of the pancreas and still live, unfortunately one of the side effects is a really good chance at diabetes as with less of a pancreas you have less enzymes...
