Lately there's been a bunch of shit going down with yours truly. As some of you may know, I have an aunt that's suffering from cancer. Well, over the past month, things have taken a turn for the worse. There's been a lot of communication between mom and the fam about exactly how she's doing, and that's been messy. I'm sorry for the stuff you're going through. I know what it's like to feel guilt over the death of a family member. It sounds like you need to take a day for yourself. Do whatever it is Viewer wants to do, not needs to do. The world will not fall apart if you take the day off.
Plus, I know a couple of places that are pretty reasonably priced, even without the roommate. Let me know if you want to consider and I'll help you figure out the odds and ends.
Our own apartment search kind of made us experts...lol...

Thanks so much, Becca. I'm actually thinking of going to the beach tomorrow just for something different. As far as getting a place, I need it as cheap as I can because I won't be able to work too much given the classes I'm taking. However, I'm leaving that up in the air because everything may not be official yet. Thank you though.
