This really has nothing to do with anything. Reading this just reminded me of what I wrote at the beginning of my "Curriculum Part 1" list of links back in the summer....

1) We're all pretty young. Contrary to popular belief, the sixties were a huge success, the fifties were a hotbed of cultural creativity and balls-out lunatics, the forties were full of rabblerousers and reactionaries, and all this hip new stuff we lay claim to has all been done before by every single generation that preceded us. So, there is much to be learned from our elders.

2) None of this is true. Remember that you can't prove anything, you can only convince people of stuff. Keep a wide open mind and you'll miss much less crucial information.

3) If you instinctively reject something, that's a good indication that you've got a faulty program running in your head. Push in the opposite direction. Abandon your pet theories and your paranormal comfort zone.

*shrug*

I am full of BS.

the 70s rocked. i know hazing is wrong, but it looked like so much fun! why couldn't my hs be more like theirs? the only thing that was in common was that they played "School's out for Summer" by Alice Cooper and he graduated from my HS, class of 69. lol. LOers are proud of their grads!
