yeah. maryellen and some of her family members hung up a cross on the pole (ONE of the poles) they hit and there are notes written on it in black marker saying things like "we love you ferd!" and stuff. i haven't seen it yet, but i guess it's on the corner or broadway and jefferson. i feel so bad for them. they are all still taking it bad.

yeah. maryellen came in saturday night (she usually works but she's still off) and i gave her a hug and talked to her about it and she was saying how they were hanging up this cross in the middle of the ghetto, and a black man drove up just to say "i sympathize for you and your family." i thought that was very nice for a stranger to go to the site and tell them that.
