What was going on with Vala? He had no idea. She had suddenly gone...she had gone the way she'd been back before they'd figured things out. Back when she hadn't wanted him to actually be around. He'd thought that things were different, now, but maybe they weren't. Maybe...maybe... Maybe he was just being an idiot and seeing what he was afraid

Somewhat confused at the expression of the uncharacteristic Daniel in front of him, Guy frowned. "'Oh, hi, Guy'? Did you loose a contact lens or something?"

"What?" Daniel gave him a confused look and shook his head. "No, no. Just..." He turned back to look at the Compound. "Nothing. I should head..." He wasn't sure where he should head. His default place would be his place. He couldn't head there because what if that's where Vala went back to? He definitely couldn't head back to her place.

"Dinner? Compound? It's the other way," Guy remarked. But there was something about Daniel, that very clearly said something was wrong. Determined strides, but not a clue where he was heading. "Is something wrong?"

"Yes, of course," he said reflexively. And then, "It's just that Vala and I...there was this argument..." That, if anything, should have said something since it was their first argument post...well, post anything, really. Everything.
