As Daniel knocked on the door, the door fell open. Guy had left it ajar on purpose and had gone to bed. If Daniel still would come, he would find himself welcome. If he didn't, well at least Guy had had some sleep.

He didn't sleep as such, but it was the thought that counted.

Daniel peered in. "Guy?" He walked in and stopped when he saw Guy asleep on the bed. After a minute, he sat on the floor and leaned his back against the bed. It would figure, wouldn't it? That he had one moment of weakness, one moment for himself, and Guy ended up falling asleep for it.

Guy let his arm fall over the edge of the bed, letting his hand rest on Daniel's shoulder. "I thought you meant in bed," he said, amused but sleepy.

He moved over to leave enough room for the other to join him. The things one does for friends.

Daniel kicked off his shoes and undid his trousers. He pushed them off and pushed them away. He was in boxers and a t-shirt. That was good enough. "I did mean, but I didn't want to wake you up." He looked down at Guy and then slid into the bed slowly.
