Alex Max Band in Berlin
Last Friday I finally had the chance to see Mr. Alex band live, after 8 years of waiting. He was opening for a band called Stanfour, which I actually like.
I met with some girls in front of the venue and it was so much fun. We were standing there, and Alex was walking through parking lot, hand in hand with his fiancé, going to the sound check. It was pretty fun, since nobody knew who he was. We then went inside, getting front row, because there were some awesome Stanfour fans, who didn’t mind giving up their front row for the opening act. I was so pretty damn nervous when the lights were going down and the first notes of „We’ve all been there“came through the speakers. It was amazing. His voice is live even better than on any DVD, Cd or whatever. He was playing a nice mix of the calling songs, and his own Solo songs, rocking out on the guitar on „Adrienne“. When he played „Wherever you will go“people suddenly realized who he actually was, even though he has mentioned that before.

After the show he came to the merch table to sign and take pictures with fans. He is sooo thin. And small, haha. But his girlfriend is just beautiful and so nice. I can’t get over the cuteness :D
But..the night was not over.
The parking lot.
We were waiting in the parking lot, mainly for the show to end, so we could spread the word about Alex. We left earlier, because Stanfour sounded pretty bad. I’ve seen them live once before, and I swear the lead singer has actually lost his voice -.-
We were waiting..and waiting, and then we were joined by the drummer Daniel James and Guitar Player Sean. The bass guitar player Joey came and joined us a few times here and there. So we had the most random conversation I’ve ever had in my life. We were standing in the parking lot, talking about music, movies, Germany, English words and...dirty boxers and facebook. I can say I am absolutely in love with Daniel. He’s such a random guy and so cute. It took him about 5 minutes to actually find something to write on my ticket.
