I <3 Evan

When I was 13 I had a picture of him on my wall. Now I’m nineteen…and nothings’s changed? Well, there are two posters of him on my wall..and he’s not a part of Avril Lavigne’s band anymore, but a solo artist.

I have on advise for you. Check him out. He’s not only one of the coolest artists ever, but also a guy, who can actually express his feelings. (I know, there’s no such thing as a guy who admits his feelings, but there really is.)

He started out in a band called “Spinfire”. Their music is pretty great as well, but they’ve never released their best song.

The song is called “Pressure” and sadly I can’t give you any sample, because there’s no video up on youtube. Just a snippet of the lyrics:

….

“If I fall down
Who will be there to pick me up
If I fall down
Who will be there for me in the end
Who will be there for me”

But now he’s a solo artist and about to release his own record (“Welcome to the Blacklist Club”), which will be out on September 15th, 2009.

The first single was “Boy meets girl”. Evan re-wrote the verses of Bleu’s “Boy meets girl” and gave the song a completely new vibe. (Check Bleu out as well)

Here’s the lyric video for Boy meets girl:

Then Evan challenged us: IF “Boy meets girl” gets a million plays on myspace, he’ll release the video for “It’s like that”.

The song is just awesome. The lyrics explain my situation in life, about to start something new…

Also…try to find me in the video ;)

Those are the official singles, but there’s another song: “Razorblade Limeade”. There’s an acoustic version up on YT that I love so much, that I’d feel bad, for not posting it.

And I don’t want to feel bad.

So, here it is:
