It has been about two weeks since I last posted. In that time,
- I found out that two more people other than Hilary Duff have the same birthday as me--my Spanish teacher and Jose Calderon.
- Wikipedia tells me that I share a birthday with Confucius, Nicholas Flamel (the REAL one), someone named Thomas Crapper, Brigitte Bardot, Emeka Okafor, Anderson Varejao (damn, I has lotsa basketball players), and the JoBros' little brother.
- It seems like more important people died on my birthday. Also, it is World Rabies Day. Figures.
- Crystal had her birthday dinner!
- We went to a Thai restaurant. Mostly everything was either meat or salad (ugh), but there was some good yellow curry and a noodley kind of thing. And rice, of course.
- I did not need to use my (newly acquired; limited) chopstick skills, as Elena and her family came along, as well as Nico. Possible embarrassment avoided.
- Later, everyone else left and I slept over at Crystal's house.
- She just moved in with her mom a month ago, and her new room is nice and big and very comfortable. But her neighbors play crappy music at strange times of the morning, and while vacuuming. This amuses me.
- We tested to see what stuff glows under a blacklight--she is having a par-tay next week. It turns out that tonic water glows, while club soda does not.
- We had leftover cake and waffles. How come I never have awesome breakfast at my house? :(
- I saw a bunch of baby pictures of her and Elena. SO. CUTE. Also, Elena's mom took an alarming amount of naked/bathing baby pics.
- I got an absolute shitload of new music.
- AM DROWNING.
- I enjoy it intensely.
- Shitload includes Kings of Leon, Calgero, old Muse albums, CSS, the Maine, and many other things I am too lazy to list.
- I think my eight-year-old computer (that is actually quite fast for its age) is running out of space for all of my music. As of now 13/30 gb are being used by iTunes. And I have no intention of slowing my rate of music-gaining.
- Since I currently have an insane amount of music I need to listen to anyway... any recommendations? No, seriously. I am currently digging French/Spanish music, indie stuff from a few years ago that I refused to get into because I was weird, cheesy 80's stuff that I hardly know about because my parents are hippies, and Queen.
- Finals have arrived.
- I feel apathetic, and don't want to study.
- Tomorrow I have:
- History. Should be horrible. He says there won't be any specific questions. I told my mom this, and she said that she doesn't trust him. I echo this sentiment.
- Spanish. EASY, because language classes always are. I should probably work on the project she assigned, but I hate my group.
- The guy who randomly tells me his problems is the only one who seems motivated to work. And yes, I have to deal with his problems again.
- The project is to make a poster about an artist from a Spanish-speaking country. We were assigned Rufino Tamayo, who is actually kind of awesome.

- Wednesday I have:
- Chemistry. We had the short answer portion today, and I died. Yeah, I am really not looking forward to this.
- PE. I don't think he's making us do anything...
- Thursday I have:
- Pre-calc. The stuff we went over suggests that it is easy, but I am cautious. Judging from the fact that we went over logs and stuff from earlier in the year, I will probably forget everything.
- English. Vocab, and the stupid district test we do every year. Plus an essay. I think I'll manage, unless I forget how to speak English.
- I have friday off!
- The Lakers have played... a number of games.
- ANDREW FUCKING BYNUM IS (KINDA) BACK.
- The first non-Kobe Laker to score 40+ points since Shaq left?! I hadn't realized it had been that... long. Okay, well I guess it's not really shocking that it's been so long, considering the shitty teams we had immediately after Shaq left. It is somewhat, vaguely, in a way surprising that he hit the 40-mark before Pau did. And that his previous individual record was 28. Anyways.
- I AM HAPPY, AND EXCITED FOR THE FOOTURE.
- And just when I was starting to think that what happened last season pre-injury was just a fluke.
- Our annual injury bug came, and went.
- *KNOCKS ON WOOD*
- This is amazing, considering that there was a point last year where only like eight guys total were dressing for games.
- Finally, the talks of Derek Fisher collapsing of exhaustion can cease. HE IS A FUCKING BRICK WALL, YOU PEOPLE. (Though, he is a 34-year-old brick wall, but whatever.)
- On a shallow note, Pau Gasol got a haircut.
- Don't look at me like that. He's adorable.

Also he's got some kind of braces-thing going on, which are either new or I just never noticed.
- Bring on the epic roadtrip. A bunch of random teams (including Memphis, which has now unfortunately become my secondary team), followed by Cavs AND Boston. Goddamn.
- The sister went to Guam.
- There is fam-drama.
- Her cat, Samba, is staying with us.
- She is so adorable, and so quiet.
- I have to clean her litterbox.
- We bathed her last week, and all amounts of filthy disgusting water poured off of her. And her long, beautiful fur is matted. I've been attempting to detangle it, with reasonable success.
Making this list was fun, and time consuming. I recommend it, and commend your patience if you actually read all of this.
ETA: Oh yeah, Jew-Daniel accidentally grabbed my boob the other day. Do not ask.
