WHO: Anthony and Lester
WHERE: Internet cafe.
WHEN: July 16th, 2012; After school
WHY: Well, Anthony's own computer, Poe, is getting fixed.
Computers that weren't his were always like foreign objects to Anthony. The keyboard didn't make the same familiar click as he pressed down on the keys one after the other, and his fingers were ached in a way that wasn't nearly as familiar. But if he wasn't given the opportunity to visit his good friend The Internet over the course of 24 hours, the freshman may have withdraw side-effects. It was ridiculous how dependent he was on the computer.
His own laptop was visiting the doctors. The Computer Doctors to be precise, though Anthony was antsy about the whole ordeal. It wasn't an issue he could have fixed himself, being a scratch across the outer frame of the monitor. And a deep scratch at that; he couldn't remember anything that awful happening the nights before that would have earned him such damage, even from that psycho dream he had. The teen was too busy blaming the world for what happened to Poe, and he could only hope that it returned in the same state - minus the huge scratch. His anxiety would be obvious until he got it.
Anthony couldn't sit at a computer unless he was comfortable, and since he didn't have the usual treat of a squishy sofa, the blond instead propped his feet up on the table in front of him. The swiveling black chair leaned back appropriately as he settled the keyboard in his lap. He already had his desired website open and running, headphones placed as the uppity tune of the start page began to play. Finally, an escape from humanity. He clicked the mouse once and then placed his index and middle finger over the x and z keys respectively.
And there was the robot unicorn, beginning it's 2-D journey as the music finally began to play. It was too catchy for a person not to sing along, not that Anthony cared about his awful tone-deaf voice as he hummed, "Open your eyes, and see... Your eyes are open~"
