Yeah, I like both Willow and Xander, but together they have such an asexual vibe it just makes me uncomfortable to see them as a couple.

I agree. Though I find it incredibly hard to chose between Willow/Oz and Willow/Tara (even though Willow/Tara got me into fandom in the first place), I never really saw the attraction of Willow/Xander. I don't think they would be good for each other as lovers.

Agreed, though I personally prefer Willow/Tara. IDK, while I respect both Willow/Oz and Buffy/Angel, I sort of perceive them as the "first love", the sweet high school romance. Not saying there's anything wrong with that (I'd myself welcome one, haha) or that it can't last, but it didn't on the show and I just feel as post-S4 Willow and Buffy (aka their more current selves that the ones from S1-3) wouldn't work in these relationship as they did back then. If that makes any sense... And despite everything I said, I still like Willow/Oz and its sweetness and I'm glad Will went through this phase of her life.

Yes, you're making sense. And I agree! I don't think Oz would have been good for Willow after a while (not even thinking about the fact that he left her behind without really giving her a chance to say goodbye). I think she needed Tara to give her the self-confidence to get out of her shell, and grow into this beautiful woman who was at ease with both her magic and her sexuality. And now I wonder if I am still making sense.

Mm, being a person who just recently watched all of the earlier seasons, I had no idea this Willow/Xander thing even occured up until then. Just strange to me, seeing as I only knew them as best of pals and adorable that way.
