naw, not really
but when i was in montreal you could buy ground horse meat at the grocery store.
Which kind of sucked for the people who didn't know any french since it was right beside the ground beef and the labels were unilingual.

I've eaten horse before, though not by choice. It was served to us in France with no indication of what it was. We were talking about the meal amongst ourselves later and could not decide what the meat was - until I reminded the others what country we were in. You could see by their eyes just when the penny dropped. :o)
