I hate you becasue I am wildly jealous of your oh so special status. My weekend... speant reading a cheezy book, and hanging out with my cousin. What a gripping life I do lead.

I'm not really that special. This summer is the first time I've gotten to do anything remotely glamourous as a benefit of the diplomatic life, and even so it's all been by chance: the ballet tickets were given to us after the ambassador turned them down (or else we'd never have such treatment), and I only got the pop star gig because I was at the right place at the right time...

besides, until I got hooked up with Brits I spent most of my weekends reading or watching pirated dvds, anyway.
