Be careful to send the money through a good organisation.. even in times like this, corrupt assholes will try to pocket some.

You're an awesome individual. I'm going to try to learn how I can send money too. Thank you for reminding me that I CAN, in some small way, help.

it doesn't surprise me at all how little our country is sending.
seems like our country (government) doesn't like to help other countries very much,
and that's why we have all these organizations that run on public donations.
i'm going to donate via UNICEF i think.

did you know that last year we spent the most money in the world to help others. it was 40% out of everyone, think about that. also there are only a few conrtys helping, the u.s being one of them. i think its us, japan, and like 2 others. i also dont believe that sweden sent more than us. were did you find that?
