Oh god he's not going to start confusing Dean and Luci is he? Because that would be all kinds of bad.

Go Dean for sucking it up and giving Cas the comfort he needed. I hope he doesn't freak out if Cas needs more (like he probably will once he finds out what Luci did).

Tongue eating aside, this was actually a very sweet chapter.

Dean's doing his best, but he's out of his depth with the whole sharing-and-caring thing. Poor woobie.

Y'know, the tongue thing... It didn't hit me until after I finished this chapter and was reading over it before posting, but it reminds me - painfully, I might add - of this creepy little short film I saw once, years and years ago at an independent screening. It's called "The Cat With Hands" and it is fantastically disturbing. You should watch it. ;)

Uh, loved it.

I totally love the interactions between Dean and Cas in this chapter. And also I find intriguing the parallellisms you draw between Dean's and Lucy's touch and how the reaction they get from Cas is startingly similar.

And uh, I will need to go over all the chapter again since I haven't really managed to focus on it. What with the headache the size of Europe I'm having right now.

Oh, yes.

This chapter was absolutely fantastic.

Dean being all confused about how to handle the situation in which he finds himself - not sure how to go about doing anything that doesn't involve shooting some bitches - is so very, very him. So when he ultimately decides to just go with it, to keep touching Castiel and trying to be there in the only way he knows, it is soooo beautiful. Those last images really melted my heart.

Poor Cas!

The image of them falling asleep together and just sort of subconsciously gravitating towards one another in their sleep just... it does things to me. ♥
