Awww, I so want this to happen in the show. All the little things like them talking, like the back seat, all those things. Because truly where does Cas go? And he has to be so lonely. No heavenly host on Angel radar anymore, nothing to do but stand on the side of a road or sit in a chair over night waiting for an archangel. I want Dean to realize that and I want Cas to join Sam and Dean.

I hate that it's still Cas flits in, Cas flits out.

Plus Sam and Cas talking, all those things would work so much better that way.

Ahem - anyway, loved this. The character actions were so well done and it just warmed my heart.

I've often thought about where Cas flits off to. It's not like he has any other contact in the world besides Dean. :(

If this or something remotely close to this happens on Show, I will literally DIE OF HAPPY.

I just want him to hang out with them in crappy diners and do crossword puzzles in the backseat of the Impala while Sam sleeps and Dean drives and it's all comfortably silent except for Zeppelin on the radio. I WANT THIS SO MUCH IT PHYSICALLY HURTS ME.
