To cap off a busy week, the season closer of the Oregon Symphony was tonight.  They'd played a very good show, but I'd especially enjoyed the new piece by Robert Kyr - Symphony 12, "Armed Man Variations".  Kyr is a northwest composer, and I haven't heard a lot of his work, but I like what I have... Mike & Laura are leaning towards moving to New Mexico for a time. They say they'll be back 'after a while,' but somehow I can't imagine them finding enough good things to eat there.

They'll be back sooner rather than later, methinks.
