summer reading list: we just did a passage from the bluest eye in lit for an impromptu, and it was AWESOME! favorite line "and he will not unrazor his lips till spring." maybe that doesn't matter if you didn't read the paragraph though. but yeah. also, notes from the underground is really amazing, and let me know about the nabokov.
music: FIDDLE TUNES?? that is brilliant, i love fiddle tunes. i'm hoping to work on the banjo this summer.. do you know how fun it would be to have a fiddle/banjo collaboration at some point?? also, yay for camping, pennslyvania and your life this summer all together.
trips: REGINA SPEKTOR IN CHICAGO???? you are the luckiest ever!! you probably already know this, but stay around after the show and you can meet her and converse with her and die of cuteness.

for one, I agree: your reading list sounds awesome. it's funny... I want to read many of those books myself, primarily (even though I see you've already read it) the odyssey and beloved. plus, I love richard wright... native son was pretty good, so I'm assuming black boy is as well.
and I LOVE that little piece of your italian final. it's very well-written... I'm assuming it's even better in italian! :D
...I don't know why I put this in a reply.
you make me want to write out all of my summer goals, too. hehe. summer goals are a good time. like learning to improvise (except on saxophone).
