I'm home.

Its finally hot.

I need a job. (If anyone ever gets extra babysitting requests, contact me)

I set up a little ceramics studio in the garage today, and made a plate of deviled eggs for a picnic. In the morning, I go back to work at a school in the Bronx.

Thalia is coming over. My cat is pawing me. The garden is growing.

I just found this great website with a database of important information on all kinds of shampoos, soaps, lotions etc. A lot of them are so shockingly full of toxic chemicals its worth typing in your favorite products and making sure they are safe! A day of dazed sleeplessness, cramming, and failed naps. I can’t fall a fall sleep but I am so exhausted that I think am starting to hallucinate a little bit. I keep seeing people standing where they stood moments earlier. And see little bright orange floating stars when I move my eyes to fast. I wish my test was Monday and not tomroow.

Life is sunny and spring is really here. I am trying to write a lab report on groundwater and Saratoga's drinking water sources, but I can't focus. My journalism teacher gave me a 100 on my last article and told me if my final article was that good, he would send it to a local newspaper. I was thrilled. I can smell spring and I am ready for it. I am thilled by the alchemy in my compost bin. Kitchen scraps rotting slowly into rich earth. also, people in the library are just as noisy as ever. there are two guys at the table next to me who are being really loud and normally i would say something. but they philosophy majors are talking about how revealing language is, and its so interesting, and im so grateful to overhear this when usually the only think i ever hear people blabbing ( Read more... )

i need to find one of "the stupidest gifts" being sold this holiday season and write a life cycle anaylsis for the product. "a signing fish, a light-up battery powered banana peeler", or any other useless item. i don't know where to start looking. any ideas?
