This year my birthday falls the day before Arisia. Its my 40, so its a big one. I'd LOVE to do something fun, probably the weekend before since the weekend after I'll be at Arisia

Perhaps discuss with lady of the house for a house party in your honor? Unsure what her schedule would be like for January and I'm not comfortable offering up space for party.

Do you have a particular vegan friendly restaurant you like? 4m dinner run? I don't know, I'm lame..lol

I was thinkin about it, but i would LOVE to have something that inst just a typical party (but that is an awesome 2nd choice).

There IS this kick-ass indian restaurant on DPA...but I hate spending as much $ on one meal as I do to eat for about 2 days (20-ish bucks).

My family does dinner for the b-day person but in the last 3-4 yrs its become take-out/delivery instead of going somewhere and every place I like doesn't have that option so i have been kinda forced out of the places I'd prefer for my b-day with family too.

I don't have many suggestions sadly. The standard amongst my friend circle has been; go out to dinner somewhere and then drinking/gaming/music/merriment at someones house. We're lame.

I'm told my best friend is trying to plan a cruise for his 30th birthday(which is 9 months before mine). I'll likely skip it since I'd rather save up for my disney princess 30th. See the lameness just oozes from my pores....lol.
