That community pisses me off sometimes just for the fact they if you fuck up one thing you get bashed I mean c'mon its not like we are writing a damn biography of the men.
My Cigarettes and handcuffs fic was bashed cuz a bitch said that it was completely out of character, if it was completely out of character why did no one else seem to think so?

They are my first fandom I wrote about but seeing as how people are such shit asses over there, I don't even want to write about them anymore it kinda ruins it =/.

Okay, from the top. I'm a professional writer as well as an Acquisitions Editor in RL. Several of my slash stories, as well as a scholarly essay on slash and some original works have been professionally published in Germany and the U.S. I have never once minded constructive criticism. In fact, I welcome it because it grounds me and gets me back into the mechanics of writing rather than me going all off on tangents. It always helps me to see my story through fresh eyes. I freely admit am not all that familiar with Japanese culture, especially the use of honorifics, and I'd have welcomed some insight as to what they are and when and how they should be used

You have always been respectful in your comments and questions. I know full well that BDSM/non-com isn't your thing, but you've never allowed your personal level of comfort get in the way of enjoying a story on its merits, and I know many of us who write the darker stories really appreciate your feedback. What I've always admired about you is the willingness to ask questions or seek clarification in a non-confrontational way. I didn't receive the same high level of courtesy from the mod in the GacktXHyde forum.

hhmmm very interesting post...I liked reading your responses to your critic. I have nothing constructive to say to you except it sounds like an interesting story you've written and I'm off to read it.
I have no concept of who Gackt and Hyde are but that's pretty minor in the scheme of a good BDSM story :)

Gackt Camui and Hyde and J-Rock singers. Hyde is also the vocalist (and sometime guitarist) for the J-Rock group L'arc en ciel. Both are also actors, having appeared in the film Moon Child, and Hyde was also in Last Quarter.
