I do understand that Amazon may be trying to keep adult content out of the hands of children,
Even if a kid should happen to find an adult concept type book on Amazon.com, it's not like they are going to be able to order it and read it without their parents permission. You need access to a credit card in order to buy products from Amazon.com, if a parent has given a kid their own credit card they must consider their child to be mature enough to emotionally handle whatever they may chose to read.
The whole "we must protect the children" is just fuck wittery of the highest order. I have two kids and the day I let someone else take responsibilty for protecting them is the day that I'll hand in my parent card.

Thankfully, you're one of the engaged parents out there who still do what they're supposed to--which is PARENT.
