[The face of a boy, thin, dark, and panicked, appears on the feed. He's breathing heavily, eyes darting around wildly behind black thick-rimmed glasses. It's clear that he's shaking, if only by the instability of the video.]
H-hey...Hey! Who's there?! What's going on?! Who's doing this?!
[Obviously, he's been kidnapped...or something...?

Hey! It's okay. Just calm down. No one's doing anything.

I'm not stupid, so you can just g-get it over with already! I don't know what I did wrong, but wh-whatever...
[He swallows hard, still shaking.]

[This kid was going to make himself sick or something.]
Can you tell me where you are? Any landmarks or something? I can help you.

[He stares at you for a long time, breathing still heavy, hands still shaking violently.]
Why should I...t-trust you...?
[Not that he's really in any sort of position to refuse help...but how could he be sure that your intentions were good...?
[Then again, what other choices did he have really?
[Finally, quietly:]
There's a clock tower...

Clock tower? I've seen that before. Okay, I'm coming to you. I might be about five, maybe ten minutes.
[She keeps the feed open, though. He didn't look like he was holding up very well and leaving him alone didn't seem like a good idea.]
What's your name?

Xavier...

[Still, she smiles when he gives his name.]
I'm Holiday. Almost there.
[She refrains from the "doctor" bit. Some people in the city aren't very fond of doctors and she didn't want to freak the kid out more.]

Weird name...
[He's mumbling, but hey. It's something, right?]
Reply
[She kneels next to him.]
You're actually the first one to point that out. It's my last name.
Reply
[But...there's nothing to run from yet. You certainly don't seem dangerous...]
Right...should've known, I guess...
[He clears his throat.]
Why do you go by your last name, Holiday...?

[At least he was trying to make conversation. Keep himself talking.]
Back home, my profession basically calls for it. Here though-... I guess it's habit more than anything.
I can try to answer any questions you have. I know there's a lot.
[As an after thought, she looks around to spy the communicator he had thrown to the ground. He would need that later.]

[Easy questions first, then he'll try to face the harder ones.]
((ooc: He actually grabbed the communicator again when she contacted him on it. :o Sorry. xD I should've added that.))

I'm a doctor. Back home, I work for a big organization called Providence. They tend to keep everything professional.

Where are you from?

That's the thing.
You probably won't believe me, but I'll tell you the truth. This city is a... different plane of reality, connecting different worlds and dimensions. The people that come here are from different worlds of their own.
So, I'm from Earth, but it's a different Earth than a lot of the people here know... if some of them are even from Earth.
Trust me. I know how it sounds.

That isn't funny...
None of this is funny, it's--
[Ha. It's bullshit is what it is, whatever it is.]
This isn't a joke.
[Another wave of panic approaching, he jumps to his feet, backing away from her and beginning to shout again.]
Where am I? What the hell is going on?
