Who: Sari, Alexander, and Legato.
What: A day at the beach is interrupted by an unseen attacker.
Where: The beach, Eastern District.
When: Wednesday, June 30th.

Somewhere beneath the ocean outside the Eastern District, the corpse of a woman in a pink dress lay buried halfway under the sand. It wasn't the corpse of any Wakened; rather, it was one created by the city itself for reasons unknown, and one of many that would have eventually fallen into the grasp of the Red Pyramid.
This particular corpse, however, had served a very specific purpose. It had been used to distract a young man before his body was taken over, and he tore out his own heart. A somewhat underhanded tactic, but one that had been quite effective for an initial test.
But Legato had no intention of using a corpse to distract anyone this time. This time, he had found two individuals alone on the beach. They were all he would need.
He kept himself out of sight, observing them both carefully. It was high time to see how much of his power he had regained.
