Holiday closes her eyes from the sudden green light blocking her vision. A hand goes in front of her face to push it away, trying to crack her eyes open, but ultimately failing. Just as quickly as it appeared, however, it's gone again. She opens her eyes and... hears a ding... Um...

Looking around, she seems to now be in a shop of some kind. Tile floor, cash register, nice plants. What is this? A few women are in the place and they look over to her, before one walks up with a big smile. "Hello, ma'am. Welcome to the spa. Can we take your coat?"

... Holiday stares. What is this? "Uh..." She looks at the other woman. "Right," she mumbles, "A spa... Uh-huh..." She looks around, even poking her head around a corner. "Drift?... Wing?" She came to Helix with them both... They were both right beside her. Drift even told them to stay together. Craptastic job, so far, Doc.

All the clerks are still smiling at her. The first even tries to speak to her again. "Ma'am, we also offer full complimentary facials and-"

"Yeah, that's nice." Alright, this is kind of freaky. "I'm sorry, ladies, but I'm just going to go now." She turns around and... almost runs into the wall. Where did the door-

"Oh, I'm sorry, ma'am, but youcanneverleave, but we do offer a new range of scents in our lotions and bady wash."

... Alright. Now it's freaky. Okay, Hekket, now what is she supposed to do? She turns back to the women, all with a way too weird smile on. It's a test of the unexpected and she has to overcome it without Bending... Good thing she brought a gun, but how much would that help? Were these women residents or something from the test? Or both? "Let me leave."

"You can't," the first SMILED again, "But can we get you anything? Tea, water, coffee?"

"I want to leave."

"You can't," spoken again from the first.

Holiday narrows her eyes, pushing past the woman. "Yes, I can and I will." She continued on, pushing through the other women who didn't move to stop her. There was probably no other way out, but there had to be some sort of weakness in this building. If she's lucky, maybe she'll even find a window or-

"Holly?"

She freezes where she stands, eyes going wide. Slowly, just to make sure, her head turns back around to see. The women are still there, but their backs are to her. The only person looking at her is a very thin, teenage boy, with glasses and a little streak of blue in his hair.

The air feels like it was suddenly sucked out of the room. "Xavier?" she mutters, turning fully to face him.

He just looks at her... almost as if he's about to cry... She doesn't give him the chance, though, as she quickly runs to him.

A wind pushes her back and darkness surrounds her. It's much like that green light earlier, but she's not separated from anyone again. Especially him. "Xavier!" She runs forward, anyway, hand reaching out, but no one's there.

The wind is gone and her heels echo against the floor, but there's nothing there save for the darkness... Had she gone blind? Is that what was happening to her this time? Her footsteps sounded different, though. "Xavier!"

It's so silent.

She whips her head around, trying not to loose her place, when she spies- "Drift!" Good lord, is she happy to see you! His back is turned to her, but it's not like she cares. She's running for him, anyway. Then, she notices someone beside him whom she's even happier to see, but- She grinds to a stop.

Six? Six didn't take Hekket up on the training. He wanted to stay and help Raye at the temple. Even if he changed his mind, she left him at the house. He couldn't be here... They were both facing away from her... and neither had answered her. "Six?... Drift?..." She took a step closer, "What's going on?... Guys?" They still weren't answering her. "Guys!" They weren't really there.

The wind whipped around her again, causing her to stumble and them to vanish. "No!" She started to try running through the wind, when she heard something like a... dog's bark from somewhere in the distance behind her.

She turned to see a fully grown golden retreiver suddenly lunging for her, teeth barred and growling. Holiday screamed, putting her arms up in defense, but the wind took a grown up Pato away, too. Now, she was just too concerned with catching her breath.

"What is going on!?" she shreiked to the darkness. It was getting cold. Holiday wrapped her arms around her, looking about to see nothing... Six wasn't really here. Neither was Pato or whatever dog that was. So, Xavier wasn't here, either. Right?

"Doc!" She turned again at the voice, facing Rex. He stood before her, looking pretty serious.

She just took a few steps back. "You're not real," she told it. Unfortunately, she didn't know if it was some kind of hologram or some kind of clone thing. One could hurt you, the other could not.

The Rex shade didn't speak. Just looked at her. Staring her down.

"What?" Holiday was quickly getting fed up with this, though. "What kind of test is this? What do you want?"

His mouth didn't move, but his voice came from... somewhere. "You have to face it, Doc. You know you do."

She was about to ask again or pull out the gun or something, when she heard something else behind her. Holiday turned quickly, on guard for anything, but stopped short at seeing Xavier again.

Only this time, he was on the ground and bloody. "Xavier!" She ran up to him again, until he looked up at her.

"No!" he screamed. That one look made her stop. "You didn't try before, so why try now?" His mouth did move. He was-... Xavier was real!

"What do you- I had no idea you'd leave! I thought you were happy!"

"I thought I was, too," he growled up at her.

This time, she didn't stop. They can argue later. She needed to save him now. She started running for him again, but was pulled back by something grabbing her arm. Looking over, it appeared to be Rex.

"No!" she screamed, ripping her arm back from him, just when something else grabbed her other arm. "Let me go."

"No." Rex's voice bounced through the air, "You need to understand."

"Let. Me. Go!" She tried pulling her arm away again, but didn't have so much luck this time. This new grip was stronger.

Xavier put his head down, seeming too tired to keep it up and look at her anymore.

This time, it was Six's voice. "You have to realize it, before things get worse."

"Let me go! Stop it!" She struggled against them, anyway, getting frantic. He needed her. He was really there and really hurt. He needed her now!

They did nothing but pull her back and away, getting further from the injured boy. More hands were wrapping around her and she could hear a lot of voices. Rex, Six, Drift, Lelouch, V, Orihime, Raye, Jendayi, Zack, Vivi, Sideswipe, Aya, Hakkai, Mitham, Nash, Wing, even the damn Paperboy. "You can't." "You need to open your eyes." "You need to realize this now." "You need to understand." "Stop fighting it."

"STOP IT!" They didn't let go and she didn't get any closer and they didn't shut up. Didn't matter. She struggled harder, even forcing her hair to get in her face. She looked up to see him, but he wasn't breathing. "LET ME GO!"

The voices kept blending until they turned into one. It was soft, but firm. Sounding young and femine. "You can't, Rebecca."

She didn't listen to it, though. "NO! LET ME GO! I CAN! JUST LET ME GO!"

"You can't!" The voice was firm and strong, but still so young... "You need to know this."

"I CAN! I JU-"

"Rebecca..."

Holiday stopped struggling, taking in deep, frantic breaths. She could still see him lying there, but all the tears was making her vision blurry. After a few seconds, the hands let her go and she fell to her knees. She just sobbed, looking at the ground. This wasn't-... This wasn't right, it just-... "Beverly?" She whispered the name to darkness.

Beverly's voice softly spoke to her again. "You can't save them all, Rebecca..."
