After hours and hours and hours of reading pages and pages and pages of The Iliad, I decided that I'd earned a break, and so, to reward myself, I started reading The Red Badge of Courage, thinking to myself, "War in Greece, couldn't be further away from war in the United States!"

Maaan, don't get behind! Does Lindsey not give you any deadlines or something? (Deadlines is a really weird word, if you think about it while you're tired)
I can't say if it gets more interesting (because I don't have a clue), but I can tell you that you get used to the repetition. Sort of.
I like the history more than the story. D:

I found the etymology:

deadline
"time limit," 1920, Amer.Eng. newspaper jargon. Perhaps influenced by earlier use (1864) to mean the "do-not-cross" line in Civil War prisons

Haha. Do not cross the line or you're dead, exactly.
