1. Last night everything sort of conspired against me... and yet worked out fine. I've learned pretty much anyone can run... it's hard on your body, knees and things especially, but since your pace can be controlled, anyone can build up to a long run. I wouldn't have been able to do it without a training program. I have no actual discipline. But if I have challenge, I'll usually do what I have to do to meet it. Which was the point of signing up for the race in the first place.

Congratulations! That really is an accomplishment to be proud of. This was 5 miles, yes? And you're moving on to 10 miles. I see the Boston Marathon in your future, oh yes I do :)
