They're not really a band. They're a coreographed performance. That's it. There's no soul. No heart. No fun. They only know one thing: winning. There's no competition, no excitement, no teeth-clenching moments when you have no idea where you're gonna come out in the rankings.
i agree... they arent a band.. a band has heart in what they do and love it they love not knowing what rating...and the excitement.. they dont have that lol they are just there to perform, win and then brag about it later... i wouldnt trade what we all have for anything.
Muah ha ha ha. Take that Plymouth you unsupportive bitches. All I can say is if Clarkston would have been at Ford Field you can bet the entire band would be there in a heartbeat....even if only to get to hang out with the marching band one last time.
Although I must say I don't like the tone of the article which is a sarcastic who cares about marching band competitions? What good are those? The band's purpose is to serve the football team end of story. But they're talking about Plymouth so its ok.
"The best idea might be to disband the district band so each school could have its own band. None of the three may be able to finish ninth in the country, but at least if the school makes the state finals again there will be a band there, too."
didanyone catch this?!! exspecially this ..."None of the three may be able to finish ninth in the country" YES!! i realky want to know who wrote this article.. and sedn them a thank you note..
but yes.. just to re-state the obvious.. i love you guys.. and something happened this year that pulled us all so close.. if we lose that.. we wont get better.. i call for a re-peat of this past year. but only better~!
