Dragon Age 2 update!
Yes, you can guess what I've been doing. I have done other stuff- on Saturday I went to a Decemberists gig, which was phenomenal, and I'm also back at uni and studying for my essays. But ofc that all takes a back seat to Zinda Hawke's adventures in Qunari trolling.
- The companion quests are amazing. I always love them the most out of all the quests in the game, and DA2 is no exception. Helping Aveline with her derpy romance was just brilliant. Zinda Hawke: Relationship counselor.
- Varric's quest, on the other hand, was heartbreaking. Seeing him get serious with his crazy brother made me very sad.
- 'I like big boats, I cannot lie'- OH ISABELA.
- Bethany got taken into the Chantry while I was in the Deep Roads ;_; Had to take a moment there, and what's worse is that the game won't let me visit her, which I totally should be able to do! I miss her bowlcut. Also now Anders is my healbot and he doesn't get on well with Aveline or Fenris. It's frustrating.
- SPEAKING OF FRUSTRATING. I can't choose between Anders and Fenris! They both have their good points but their bucketloads of angst are really offputting. Currently Fenris is edging ahead. He made an actual joke with Varric! ('What do you do in your mansion all day?' 'I dance. I run from room to room and choreograph routines').
- Compounding the problem, I can't bring myself to romance Isabela or Merrill. They're like my best mate and little sister respectively, it's just too weird. Esp. Merrill as I've met her VA in person and that seems to have made things weird.
- Speaking of Merrill, did anybody else find it weird that she was the one Welsh elf in the camp of Irish elves? Just me? Okay.
