So, I have been working hard for the moneys and haven't had much free time to myself to do anything other than come down with a  truly horrific cold and play Skyrim. I've been amusing myself by writing up some drabbles from my main playthrough: Skuld Wrymsdottir met up with Erik the Slayer (who is nice but a bit stupid) and Barbas, who is a talking ( Read more... )

Skuld's adventures with Erik and Barbas are fantastic. Out of curiosity, is Erik the guy that you can help become an adventurer in Rorikstead?

I still love her reaction after getting out of the museum. Poor Skuld; don't know how she made it through that with a straight face.

Tahnk you! Erik is indeed that guy from Rorikstead: the fact that you have to talk to his dad for him endeared Erik to my heart forever. Also, he's a pretty decent tank.

That museum! Silus is still waiting in there. Hoping that Skuld comes back. (she will never, ever come back).

Ahahahaahhaha, these are amaaaaazing.

I haven't found the talking dog yet (though I knew of him), but now I definitely want to go find him AND Erik (still haven't been to Rorrikstead, hello 35 hours!) I miss having companions, or at least I miss hearing Lydia say the same thing so many times that I start talking back to the game.

Thank you! They were fun to write :D

I recommend Erik and Barbas as a duo: they make a pretty excellent tank team, although Barbas has a habit of pushing you about in narrow spaces, which can get annoying. Also annoying: NPC dialogue from your follower, although at least with Erik it kind of makes sense that he spouts some brain-dead things occasionally.

(I talk back to the game constantly. My family thinks I'm mad)
